📨 A Letter to the Pack: YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, SO NEVER GIVE UP

We are the Alfa Ones. A forgotten generation, neither fully Gen X nor fully Millennial. Born between 1980 and 1989, we are children of transition—the last to live free-range childhoods without screens, and the first to adapt to the digital revolution. We know what it means to wait, to write letters by hand, to fix things when they broke instead of replacing them. We also learned to code, to connect, to translate our analog resilience into digital agility. We are not an accident of time—we are the guardians of the threshold.

📨 A Letter to the Pack: YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, SO NEVER GIVE UP

By Javier Clemente Engonga

Dear Pack,

We are the Alfa Ones. A forgotten generation, neither fully Gen X nor fully Millennial. Born between 1980 and 1989, we are children of transition—the last to live free-range childhoods without screens, and the first to adapt to the digital revolution. We know what it means to wait, to write letters by hand, to fix things when they broke instead of replacing them. We also learned to code, to connect, to translate our analog resilience into digital agility. We are not an accident of time—we are the guardians of the threshold.

But guardianship is not easy. Many of us feel misplaced, like outcasts in a timeline that wasn’t built for us. Too young to be respected as elders, too old to be counted as digital natives. The truth is, the world needs us precisely because we hold both worlds inside: the wisdom of the old and the tools of the new.

This letter is not a speech. It is a call. A call to remember who you are, to rise from the silence of forgotten generations, and to embrace your mission: to change the world, starting from within.

🌌 1. The Burden and the Blessing of Being Between Worlds

To be in the middle is to carry weight on both shoulders. We remember the Cold War’s shadow, but also the dawn of the internet. We lived before September 11 and after it. We saw Berlin’s Wall fall, and smartphones rise. The Alfa Ones embody paradox: resilience with innovation, patience with acceleration, memory with anticipation.

This is both a burden and a blessing. A burden, because it often isolates us. We feel like translators in a world of monologues. But also a blessing—because history has trained us for the exact crossroads humanity faces today. When societies are fragmented, when technology outpaces ethics, when generations distrust each other, who better than the ones who know both languages?

🐺 2. Why I Call You “The Pack”

In English, “manada” translates as “the pack.” Wolves move in packs not because they are weak, but because they understand strength is not measured by isolation. Alone, a wolf is vulnerable. Together, the pack is unstoppable.

You are not alone. If you feel like you don’t fit, it’s because you are not meant to fit—you are meant to lead. Leaders are not born from comfort but from dissonance. A pack doesn’t need everyone to be the alpha. It needs each wolf to bring their gift: wisdom, courage, resilience, or vision.

Alfa Ones are scattered around the world, often silent. But silence does not mean absence. The pack is awakening.

🔥 3. YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

It sounds naïve, almost childish, to say “you can change the world.” But think about it: who else will? Do you trust corporations? Politicians? Algorithms? The world will not be changed by faceless systems. It will be changed by human beings who remember their dignity, who act with courage, who refuse to surrender their authenticity.

Alfa Ones are uniquely positioned. Why?

  • We still know how to think without Google.

  • We remember analog patience, but we master digital speed.

  • We have known scarcity and abundance.

  • We have lived in freedom before surveillance, and we can imagine freedom beyond it.

Changing the world does not require everyone. It requires a critical mass of awakened people. And the pack is enough.

🛡️ 4. The Enemies You Will Face

If you dare to believe you can change the world, be ready for resistance.

  • Conformity: People will tell you to settle down, to stop dreaming, to accept “reality.”

  • Distraction: Technology is designed to keep you entertained, not empowered.

  • Fear: The system thrives on your paralysis, on making you believe you are too small.

But remember this: every system that ever oppressed humanity—from empires to dictatorships—fell. Not because they wanted to, but because enough people refused to be afraid.

🌱 5. The Inner Revolution

Before you transform the world, you must transform yourself.

  • Discipline: Without it, freedom is chaos.

  • Purpose: Without it, success is emptiness.

  • Integrity: Without it, power becomes corruption.

Alfa Ones must master inner sovereignty. To be sovereign is not to dominate others, but to refuse to be enslaved by addictions, fears, or illusions. Your mind is your kingdom. Rule it well.

🚀 6. Building with the Tools of the Future

We live in a time when artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and space exploration are rewriting existence. For many, this is terrifying. For us, it is opportunity.

  • Artificial Intelligence should not replace human consciousness—it should amplify it.

  • Biotech should not create inequality—it should heal.

  • Digital Platforms should not divide communities—they should reconnect humanity.

Alfa Ones must become architects of ethical futures. Not passive consumers, but active designers. That is why I built ecosystems like Invest in Africa™, Digital University of Africa™, World Digital Hospital™, and The Africa AI™. They are not just projects—they are weapons of dignity.

🕊️ 7. Never Give Up

There will be days when you feel invisible, when your efforts seem meaningless. But history is not written in headlines. It is written in the quiet persistence of those who refuse to quit.

Every book you write, every child you teach, every injustice you expose, every dream you chase—it matters. You may never see the full fruit, but seeds do not complain about time. They grow in silence until they break the soil.

You are a seed. The pack is the forest.

🌍 8. Legacy of the Alfa Ones

We may not live to see utopia, but we can ensure dystopia never wins. Our legacy will not be monuments or statues, but the invisible threads of freedom, wisdom, and courage we weave into the future.

If the next generations find themselves less enslaved, less afraid, less ignorant, it will be because the Alfa Ones did not give up.

✊ Final Words

Dear Pack: You can change the world. Not tomorrow. Not someday. Now. With every act of courage, every refusal to conform, every vision you dare to manifest.

You were not born in the wrong timeline. You were born exactly where you were needed. Between the worlds. As guardians of memory, translators of wisdom, architects of the future.

So never give up. Because if you don’t, the world cannot remain the same.
